Solve the system of equations \[\lineqs{8 x -9 &=& 3x+1 \cr 7 x -8 &=& 9 x - 12 \cr}\] in \(x\). Give the answer in the form \(none\) if there is no solution, otherwise in the form \(x=a\) for a suitable number \(a\).
