You can do so via the matrix tab in the formula editor or as a list of lists (e.g., \(\bigl[\bigl[1,2,3\bigr],\bigl[4,5,6\bigr]\bigr]\) the matrix \(\left ( \begin{array}{rrr} 1&2&3\\ 4&5&6\end {array} \right) \).
