Limits part 2: Functions: Introduction
Introduction
In the previous chapter we studied limits of sequences. In this chapter, we expand the concept of limits to limits of functions.
At the end of this chapter, you will understand the following expressions and you will be able to evaluate them: \[ \lim_{x\to\infty} \frac{\sin(x)}{x}, \qquad \lim_{x\to 2} \frac{x^2-4}{x-2},\qquad\lim_{x\to 0^+} x \log(x)\text.\]
